9 ವರುಗಳು ಮುಂತಾಗಿ [ಶಿ]ವಳಿಯ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಅರಿ . . . ಇಪ್ಪ –

10 ತ್ತು ಅಧಿವಾಸದವೊಳಗೆ ಮೂಡಿಲ್ಲವರ ನಾಲ್ಕೂರೊಳಗಣ ಬಯ –

11 ಲೂರಿಂಗೆ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಮರಿಯಾದೆಯಲು ಬಂದಂಥಾ ಸಮು –

12 ದಾಯ ಬೆಡುಂಗೊಳು ವೊಸಗೆ ಅನಾಯ ಮೊದಲಾಗಿ ಕಿಕ್ಕಾ –

13 ಯಿ ತಾಯಿಯ[ರು] ವಾಸದೇವ ಮೂಡಲವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟರು ಇ

14 . . ಕಾ . ೦ಗೆಉ ಬರದ ಕಲ್ಲಿಂಗೆಯೂ ಅರಸಿಂದ ಅನುಸಾ –

HATYAṄGAḌI, COONDAPOOR TALUK, SOUTH KANARA DISTRICT

Slab planted in a field called ‘Rāmayaseṭṭi-hola’

Vīra-Ballāḷa III, 1337-38 A.D.

This badly damaged record is dated Śaka [12]60, Īśvara, Phālguṇa, Thursday, the details being insufficient for verification. The Śaka year, which was current, corresponds to 1337-38 A.D. The record refers to Koṭīśvaradēva, probably a deity.
