TEXT OF INSCRIPTIONS

No. 67

(A. R. No. 226 of 1931-32)

ARINKELA, PUNGANUR TALUK, CHITTOOR DISTRICT

Stone set up in front of the Āñjanēya temple

Harihara II, 1394 A.D.

This is dated Śaka 1314, Śrīmukha, Māgha ba. 5, Thursday corresponding to 1394 A.D., January 22. The Śaka year, however, was 1315.

It states that while mahāmaṇḍalēśvara. Kumāra Vira-Immaḍi- Bukkaṇṇa-voḍeya was governing Muluvāyi-rājya. Balpe-nāyaka described as his maneya-nāyaka made a gift of some money to Saṅga-gauḍa, son of Kanna-gauḍa for constructing a tank called Kannagere at Arekere which was situated in Bīra-Huli-nāḍu and which belonged to the donor.

8 ಷೆಗೆ ತಪ್ಪುವರಾಯರ ಗ –

9 ೦ಡ ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರ ಹರಿಹರ [ರಾಯರ]

10 ಕುಮಾರ ಶ್ರೀ ಮನ್ಮಹಾಮಂಡ –

11 ಲೇಶ್ವರ ಶ್ರೀ ವೀರ ಯಿಂಮಡಿ ಬು –
