¹ The second akshara of this name appears more like cha than va; but va and cha appear almost like each other in this inscription (cf. ch=aiva 1. 34 infra). and other records of the period. Besides, यंचवत्तिर्ये makes no sense. I, therefore, propose to read यंचवत्तिर्ये here, जांबुवत्तीर्थो being substituted for य as in ज in 1.33 infra.
