1 Fleet proposed to read माहात्म्याघिकत्व, but it gives no good sense. The Paṭṭan plates (No. 13)
give घीमत्त्व in line 11.
2 The engraver first incised ज्जि, which he later corrected into र्ज्जि.
3 The engraver first incised ङ्का and later corrected it into ङ्क.
4 Read य़थेहास्माभिरात्मनो.
5 Read -मर्य्यादां वितराम-.
6 The engraver first incised दायै and later corrected it into दायी.
7 Read -विष्टि-.
8 Read -परिहृतः.
9 Read सकलृप्तोषकलृप्तः.
10 Read यश्चदं or यश्चास्मच्छासनं as in the Paṭṭan plates (No. 13), line 35.
11 After this word, कुर्य्या- was incised and then cancelled.
