[4] The vowel mark appears below the letter as in the case of any other consonant, and not in a line with it.
[5] The punctuation marks are redundant, as some others below.
[6] The sign-manual below this line should not be taken to break the continuity of the writing.
[7] The sign of anusvāra has disappeared. leaving only some traces.
[8] See my note on the same word in the text of the Bāṅswāḍā grant, below, No. 11. The word धर्म्मादाय is current in Mālava even to this day. The prefix श्र्पा may here mean “with all surroundings”.
[9] Here the visarga is not dropped. as required by the rules of sandhi.
