[8] See my note on the same word in the text of the Bāṅswāḍā grant, below, No. 11. The word धर्म्मादाय is current in Mālava even to this day. The prefix श्र्पा may here mean “with all surroundings”.
[9] Here the visarga is not dropped. as required by the rules of sandhi.
