ABRIDGED TRANSLATION.

(Line 1.) Ôṁ. Victory has been achieved by Bhagavat[7] (Vishṇu). Hail ! From the prosperous camp of victory pitched at Mênmâtura,

(L. 3.) the great-grandson of the glorious Mahârâja Vîravarman, the only hero on the surface of the earth,

(L. 7.) the grandson of the glorious Mahârâja Skandavarman (II.),

(L. 9.) the son of the glorious Yuvamahârâja Vishṇugôpa,
