INSCRIPTIONS OF THE PARAMARAS OF MALWA

Mōḍ ; it is about 3 kms. north of the Narmadā ; and this name also suggests its identification with the Mahuäḍa of the inscription ; but its distance from Satājuṇā, which is not less than 50 miles (80 kms.), and its situation on the opposite side of the Narmadā make it less possible to identify it with the Mahuäḍa of the record, though the case cannot altogether be precluded
