[1] The Bhādāna grant has स (श) त्रुपञ्जररुधि, from which Kielhorn inferred that Kṛishṇarāja had been imprisoned by the enemy.
[2] Metre : Śārdūlavikrīḍita.
[3] The Bhādāna grant has सुप्रभूतप्रसूतिम्.
[4] Metre: Mālinī.
[5] The Bhādāna grant reads the second half of this verse as follows : संप्रापिते ज्योति[रलं?] विवृद्धे क[थाव]भासे सति रट्टराज्ये। Metre: Upajāti.
[6] The Bhādāna grant has a better reading स्वशरीरदानात् त्राता हि लोकनमघश्च गरुत्मतः सः। Metre : Vasantatilakā.
[7] The Bhādāna grant reads the last three pādas as follows: दलितरिपुकदम्वः(म्बः) प्राणिनां प्राणदः सः। समरसरण- (णि) गोप्ता कामु (न्त)कान्तासु कामः सुजनवदनपद्मोन्निद्रभास्वानतंद्रः॥ Metre of this and the next verse: Mālinī.
[8] Metre : Āryā.
[9] Metre of this and the next verse: Anushṭubh.
[10] Metre : Vasantatilakā.
[11] Read - तष्ठौ. Metre of this and the next verse: Āryā.
