the ascetics in the temple of god Vyāsēśvara constructed at
Vyāsapura by Attirāja of the Kāśyapa gōtra, the lord of the
town, when Bammaṇaya Daṇḍanāyaka was govering the
Banavase-12000 and Kaliyamarasa of the Jīmūtavāhana
lineage and Khachara race was administering the fief
(maṁneya) of Bāsavūra-140 whose chief town was Vyāsapura. Other gifts were also made to the same god.

The preamble contains reference to the reign of the Western
Chālukya king Tribhuvanamalladēva, which appears to be wrong.  Records the gift of the sthāna of the Jayasiṁgēśvara temple of Kalukere by Rājaguru Amarēśvaradēva, the āchārya of god Īśvara of Hānuṁgal to his disciple Mallikārjuna-Paṇḍita. Also records gifts of lands and other incomes by the local merchants, residents and members of the trading organisation.
