Registers a gift of the income from perjuṁka made to certain prominent local residents (names specified) for the upkeep of the big tank of Piriya-Kereyūr, by Daṇḍanāyaka Guṇḍamayya, the king’s general bearing the titles Narmadā-nady-ubhaya-taṭarājahaṁsa (a swan on the two banks of the Narmadā), Māḷava-dhūmakētu (fire to the Māḷavas), Maṇḍavakōḷ-ōllaṁghana (capture of the Maṇḍava fort), Dhārānagara-kutūhala (a curiosity to the inhabitants of Dhārā) and Mummaṇijaḷadhi-badavānaḷa (submarine fire to the sea of Mummaṇi). Kāśyapa Mādhava wrote the record and Nāgavarman of Huligere engraved it. Noticed in Prog. Kan. Res., 1947-52. P. 23. |
