States that the dam of a tank at Baisavaḷḷi which had given way was repaired and an endowment of wet land made for its upkeep. At that time Mahāmaṇḍalēśvara Chāvuṇḍa rāya was governing Banavāsi-12000, Mahāmaṇḍalēśvara Mayūravarman of the Kadamba family was holding the fief (manneya sāmya) fo Pānuṁgal-500 included in the area and Eṛagāri held the office of Ūr-gavuṇḍu of Baisavaḷḷi. Chāvuṇḍarāya’s younger brother Barmmadēva also made a gift of siddhāya for the same purpose. Sēnabōva Dāsi mayya of Niṭṭasiṁgi wrote the record and Barmōja engraved it. |
